Welchol Offers Flexible Dosing Options
Welchol is available in two forms: as a drinkable oral suspension and as tablets. Welchol should be taken as directed by your physician. Always take Welchol with a meal and liquid.
Welchol for Oral Suspension
Phenylketonurics: Welchol for Oral Suspension contains 48 mg phenylalanine per 3.75 gram dose.
Welchol for Oral Suspension is a sugar-free, citrus-flavored form of Welchol that has the same benefits as Welchol tablets.
How to Prepare:
Each packet contains a single dose that should not be taken in its dry form. It should be mixed with water and taken with a meal.

Welchol Tablets
Welchol Tablets may be taken as:

6 tablets once a day with a meal and liquid
or - 3 tablets twice a day with a meal and liquid
