Flexible Dosing Options
Welchol offers your patients once-daily dosing convenience with Welchol for Oral Suspension, an alternative with the same efficacy and safety profile as Welchol Tablets.
* Phenylketonurics: Welchol for Oral Suspension contains 48 mg phenylalanine per 3.75 g dose.
Welchol dosing options:
- 1 packet (3.75 g) mixed with 4 to 8 oz. of water once daily (with a meal)
- 6 tablets once daily (with a meal and liquid)
- 3 tablets twice daily (with a meal and liquid)

Once-daily formulation with efficacy and safety equivalent to Welchol Tablets
